All TV's are 1 year - but really depending on the price you bought it for it is more
Not exactly true. TCL are 3 years for example. ACL should cover this one anyway as any reasonable person would expect a number of years service for that price.
Yeah that's what I mean. Even though Samsung states that it is 1 year warranty, I've heard multiple stories that they have successfully gotten repairs/replacements outside the period.
And I've seen some $600 computer monitors with 3-year warranties. It's just not good enough for Samsung to offer such lousy warranty terms.
A quick check of Sony $5000 TV's and they only have 1 year as well. But yeah, as said below, as a consumer we have a right to reasonable warranty and dept of fair trading etc may get involved if needed
Great price, worth noting the 8000 series has much less glare, is brighter and darker blacks, but is still very expensive.
Seems a decent price for 75”The old 8000 series went to 75", unfortunately the current RU8000 series stops at 65"
Sorry, excuse my comment new to TV's but I was specifically comparing the a NU8000 75" (older model) and this newer model NU 7 series, both on display at JB.
I actually found the older 8 series a lot brighter, and noticeably less reflection, but not sure if the 8 is worth the significantly extra $$$Don't take what I said too seriously as I also found the Hisense very impressive, but as someone pointed out it could just be the content and how the TV's were tuned. Samsung seems like a better brand and cheaper….

Why is the warranty on this thing only for a year?
