  • Doesn't come with sub

Not going to lie, this was a Clubcatch exclusive last week for $399. I would wait, knowing Catch it will probably have a 30% discount applied to it soon enough. Plus without a sub for that price you can get a lot more speakers.

  • Not worth without Sub at this price

  • I think this https://www.harveynorman.com.au/yamaha-5-1-channel-home-thea…
is much better value if you have the room for it.

Also available at Bing Lee and Betta Electrical for $399.

It has been cheaper previously though.

Last Saturday I ended buying the soundbar Philips HTL3160B/12 for $329 after a lot of waiting, and a lot of Googling.
3.1 with 200W, and wireless subwoofer and holy moly. Watching shooting movie, shooting game and the sound is so clean. I was worried with the neighbours calling the cops thinking that the shoot was inside of the apartment hahahaha
USB, Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, optical audio, Dolby Digital Pro Logic II surround sound, Virtual Surround Sound makes it an awesome deal.

    • I almost jumped at this after reading your post, however, then I realised that this only comes with HDMI 1.4 which means no 4k passthrough

      • I've read a few reviews and they say it does have 4k passthrough?

        • On top of my previous comment, if you don't have a 4K TV which is where all the devices are connected anyways, buying an A/V 4k pass-through is just overkill.

I have a Samsung QLED 65Q7FN 4K so I only needed a better audio quality.
My TV has Netflix, Youtube in 4K, and my Xbox One S is connected to the TV so I don't need a 4k pass-through and I am not able to tell you about the 4K :(

You only need a 4k pass-through if all the devices are connected to the audio system which is not the case.
This Philips model has one HDMI (ARC) which I am using to have one control for everything. I am using it as audio system only, no video processing.
