Considering buying a 82-86inch TV which weights around 50kg.
Most tv benches/cabinets don't list their max loads, the IKEA ones do but aren't large enough.
Any recommendations?
Cabinet/Bench Options for 82-86" TV

Im renting…so dont think wall mounting would be a viable option…
A bracket doesn’t have to be permanent. You could ask permission to drill holes and patch and paint over them before you leave. Otherwise - go the timber ikea tables that sit flat on the floor. They can hold a significant weight.

You can make them large enough. Throw a few Besta cabs together. There are heaps of youtube videos online which can show you the best way to do this as a TV cab. I even have mine mounted to the wall and would easily take a 75" or higher TV.
But to be honest, in a standard room with a TV that size, you might want to have the TV very close to the floor so you aren't staring up all the time from your couch.
Bestas are only 40cm deep, the 85inch Sony im looking at is like 43-44cm…
Cinder blocks and a few 2x4's from Bunnings, the industrial look is back and in heat
WTF 82-86"! That's huge! would that fit through the door and around corners etc.
Turn it to portrait orientation and move it.
it'd be like having a cinema in your home! i think microwave popcorn is on sale at woollies this week. I'd be tempted to take long service leave and re-watch the entire Battlestar Gallactica series if i were in your position. Ha!
Edit: on a serious note, 50kg isn't too heavy for decent furniture. It was quite common for old school CRT tv's to weigh around 50kg, maybe for say a 68cm tv.
50kg isn't the issue. It's the bulk combined with the limited hand holds.
I make my own handholds. Use the styrofoam/box and use some tiedowns to make straps. Much easier holding straps than a flat surface.

Given that show is only in 1080p at best, I'd hope it'd hold up ok on such a giant 4k screen.
If you have have kids, make sure you're securing that tv to the wall or to whatever it's sitting on.
If you’re spending that amount of coin perhaps think of wall mounting with a proper bracket? Otherwise any solid timber coffee table / tv u it would be able to support that sort weight.
