Looking to get a tap filter.
I usually use the brita jugs.
Now looking to under the sink or over the tap filter recommendations thanks!
Leaning towards the bunnings over the tap filter atm but what other ones are good?

just buy some shaved glacial water..like voss
I installed one myself a few years ago. Replaced the standard hot/cold mixer with a hot/cold/filter mixer. Bought a 2 stage filter + 2 sets of filters from ebay. All up it cost $130. Took about 2 hours to plumb in (never changed a tap before) .
Would have been faster if i had labelled the flex pipes and had used at least a dozen "turns" of plumbers teflon tape on each connection.
There was a very definite difference/improvement in taste.

Actual achievement unlocked.
Got links to which one you bought? Guides to DIY plumbing?
this type of filter system - (I actually bought second hand - $15 delivered)
these filters
you also need a t-junction for the water supply. and supply hose.
the tap I bought was like this one which was bought when AUD was parity with USD -plus I made an offer and it was accepted ~$80 delivered
here is an example of an "all-in-plus tap" filter system. it shows all the bits and bobs required.
if I was installing another tap like this then I'd remove the whole sink. I found that I couldn't get the lock nut super tight so the tap would swivel when swiveling the tap from sink to sink. when I re-stained the bench top I took the sink out - pressed metal sink. it was only held in with 10 undersink clamps and some silicon sealant. this allowed me tighten the lock nut properly (and replace one of the flex pipes - which they recommend replacing every 5 years).
plenty of DIY youtube clips.
