No shortage of LED desk lamps but their brightness is underwhelming, and, I doubt their NITS/LUX specs.
What’s the brightest, practical consumer LED desk lamp in Australia?

    What's wrong with a 100W halogen light shining down on your desk?

      It's using 90% more energy an equivalent LED. And being close to you, there's more chance of touching the globe and burning yourself.

        I was actually hoping OP would reply and tell us exactly what he's looking for (and specific uses) rather than just have a generic post whinging that everything isn't good enough and he wants the best one in the world (well, in Aust!), which I'm sure he doesn't actually need or want.

    Easily build one yourself, look at examples on Etsy, stick a proper powerful ceiling light LED in there and you're done.

    The study light is meant to reduce shadows, not illuminate your tabletop and surroundings.
