Wireless Speakers with Remote on/off That’s Not UE Boom?

I have the original UE boom, which I like, because there’s the remote function that allows me to turn it on and off using my phone without needing me to physically go near the speaker.

I’m thinking about getting UE boom 3 but I’m wondering if there are other wireless speakers with this function too? Bose, JBL, Sony? I’d rather not get the “smart” speakers though.

Will appreciate suggestions. Thanks!

    May not be much help but my Sony MHCV5 bluetooth hifi system does have a wake on bluetooth function - once it's paired you only need to connect to it (no app required) and it will turn on.

    Maybe their portable bluetooth speakers have the same function?

    edit - the function is called Bluetooth Standby and the Sony SRS-XB22 portable speaker does have it, but only while it's connected to power

      Yes my Yamaha soundbar also has this feature (needs to be enabled following instructions).
      Turns itself on when you connect / select it on your phone, turns itself off after 10-15 mins of inactivity.
      So the device is completely hands-free.
