I have been looking at this bag for ages and only today saw it at this extra discounted price. David Jones still have it for $599. Not even on sale there. Yes. OZB is a bad place. There's a previous near new version on Auction Ebay for $300 or buy it now $400. Was going to get that, but just holding off. Lucky we did.
Imagine thinking a bag is worth $240, let alone $600 solely for the label stitched onto it.

Yes Imagine. Your point being? Everyone has their price point. Some have higher ones than others. If your've ever owned an Oroton bag you will find they are well made and last a long time IMO. So at the discounted price over the lifecycle of the bag its real value. The RR is there in the stores and there are those that are willing to pay that price what ever it is. You are paying for some reasonable workmanship as well. For sure a lot of it is on the label. I'd be happy to pay for it without the label, but there isn't anything of similar quality or style that we like.

I guess this is on sale because no one who earns enough to think paying 600 bucks for a laptop bag is worthwhile still uses a massive 15 inch laptop as their work computer.
It's on sale as it's probably end of style and part of EOFY. It it through the outlet store arleady. As I mentioned earlier. Everyone has their own price point of what something is worth. To some not here as OZB, $600 ret or $7000 may be small change. Gee there are $1k + mobile phones. For the sale price you can probably find another leather laptop bag in the price range. Obviously, there are cheaper ones.

I have an issue with Oroton describing their bag linked above as a "Hobo" bag. It's anything but.
Made in China I'm guessing. At RRP $599 they must be dreaming. It's a pity Oroton isn't the quality brand they used to be. Even at $239 if you shop around hard enough for a good bargain you could find a better branded bag made in Italy.
@sammyboy You can always find cheaper its a matter of also your taste and features you want in a bag. At least it's designed in Australia.
