Kogan Air Conditioner Price Hike - Just in Time for The Chilly Winter!

Well if you are thinking of buying an airconditioner from Kogan, now is definitely NOT the time as these airconditioners have been price hiked up to almost DOUBLE THE ORIGINAL PRICE. :O

I'm not sure as to why would Kogan do this? Perhaps to discourage people from getting them and instead just focus on heaters? (which they are aggressively marketing right now). These airconditioners btw are multi-function - which can do cooling, heating, fan and dehumidify. Just find this appalling and so I thought I'd take the time to warn the good people of Ozbargain about this price change. :D

In the case of the portable 5.2kw aircon which was a few weeks ago at $499 (from $699 or $799) is now $999!

    Maybe big demand in norther hemisphere affecting prices at the factories.

    They can price as they like. But truth is, AC's are made in only a few places, so demand in the north can take all the supply and leave prices high, even when you don't need one here in Australia.

    Find a place, bricks are mortar shop where they over stocked during summer and have no way of selling to the high demand North, and you will see prices low. But Kogan can ship world wide. So they are not targeting you with their pricing.
