Apple AirPods 1st Generation with Charging Case AU - $99

I found this on eBay and have taken a gamble on it. Thanks to the potentially misleading title if they aren't genuine I will be able to get my money back.

No where do they state they are a knock off, and the site claims they are Apple AirPods 1st Generation. Worth the gamble.

I am posting here and not on the main page as the post is not allowed in the Deals section.

I believe this is the link: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Apple-AirPods-1st-Generation-wit…

    Brand: Unbranded

Significant amount of bad feedback, I wouldn't even bother.

    Haha
.. you lost the gamble already.

  • They title is enough that I can get my money back if they aren't.

They title claims it is an "Apple AirPods 1st Generation with Charging Case AU". This is misleading if not actually an Apple brand. Because that title matches the official Apple title.

Paypal. Misleading title you get your money back.

  • Paid $15 in Vietnam for same. Not a deal.

  • some people just do it for the thrills and adrenaline rush thingie.

  • There are some very convincing fakes around. Seen a few popping up on reddit lately.
The trouble is that if they get too indistinguishable, down to fake branding and labels, you might have a hard time proving it's fake. Maybe you can tell paypal that the plastic feels slightly different, and the lid closes with a bit less of a snap, but that's about it.
If you're very lucky, they'll sound good and work almost as well. Or you might have something that sounds crap and breaks in a couple of months.

Here's a comparison of one set. They seem remarkably good. I'd probably grab these if they didn't cost 50% of genuine. You at least want them cheap enough that you can budget a few replacements
