I tried the Oculus Quest today for the first time today and loved the experience.
Considering whether to get one but would like to hear about other people's views on it. Understand without being tethered, the experience is different but I was very impressed with what I saw.
Was there a drop in graphics quality coming from HTC Vive? Is it more or less immersive than Vive?
Its better than the Vive. Less Screen door (Vive has a lot) and sharper resolution. Because there's no cord, its easier to not get distracted.
Have you tried multiplayer yet? How does that work? Is there stream lag?
I pre-ordered it when it first came out. Game changer, and I've had the HTC Vive and Samsung Odyssey (both long gone). Wait till you try ALVR…streaming PC VR games to the QUest.
