I hope you like Penn tennis balls. I don't. Like is subjective.
Not quite as bad as Wilson ones for me, but it's worth knowing how much you like them before you commit to buying so many.
Tennis balls probably make the most difference in terms of gear changing how the game plays.
Going rate seems to be $90 on ebay I too would be interested in the Costco price.
Agree with StrayfireX if you haven't tried them before, sample a can or two before committing to so many as they play a critical part of your enjoyment and Penns are polarising.
I enjoy playing with Penns but many of my opponents despise them.
They are very hard and don't fluff up so they are unforgiving on mishits and you don't get a nice 'pocket' feel off your strings - I've tried all but catgut.
On the plus side they are the most durable ball by far and reward timing rather than muscling the ball.
If I got a new can of Wilson or Slazengers every seven games like the pros I'd ditch the Penns but the reality is for plebs like me they offer best bang for buck. Other balls start to feel like sponges after a set or two.
They were $59.
