Not first time poster, but potentially a crappy deal, so please don't be nice!

First up a disclaimer - I know next to nothing about current prices / specs of PC's (although I do know a little about HN's normal pricing strategies!), so this is more for you guys to be the judge : )

Pretty vague about whether it only applies to the 6 computers listed on that page or what, but it appears to be the case…

Dunno if you can pricematch on one of these and still score the double RAM deal.

Did a quick search on the intarwebs and it seems some of these PC's are priced ok, but I don't know how they compare to other similarly specced machines.

Might be a bargain in there for someone though?

    Ram are cheap now, what they have marked up is a lot more than that.

    Before anyone buys this, they should call places like mln, centrecom etc and get a quote on the same laptop with a ram upgrade. It'll probably still work out SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper because of HN's massive markup.

    They're selling 4GB RAM stick for a rediculously low price of $299….
