Hi All,
Looking into a robot vacuum cleaner. Has anyone tried the MyGenie X6?
They look too cheap to be true, at ~100 compared to the few hundred for the Xiao version, and the ~600 for the roomba.
Are any owners happy with their X6?

One of my Roborock/Xiaomi ones is currently mopping. Love it.
How well does the mopping work?
Probably gotta refill it with water?
It doesn't cause any slip hazards does it?
They're around ~300+ I think? Had a brief look into those, but the $99 caught my eye. Might avoid it based on altomic's advice however.
If you have slippery tiles then it will struggle.
My bathroom tiles are troubling for it. Dunno what idiot builder put tiles in a bathroom that are slippery when wet.
Living/kitchen tiles are less slippery. It's ok on that if using water only. If I use cleaning fluids then that makes the floor slippery and then it struggles.
For stubborn stains it may not wipe them on the first pass. Maybe a second pass. Maybe manual intervention is needed.
Water tank lasts about 40mins.
I've had mine a year and a half. Paid just under $500 I think
Don't dry the water tank in the sun. Not UV stable. Will crack. Or maybe it was the cleaning chemicals I used to use. I had to buy a replacement tank from aliexpress
Struggling includes: rotating around going nowhere. Giving up and stopping and asking for help
As above, forget the cheap crap. IMO xiaomi ver 1 is best value for money.
don't bother with cheap robot cleaners.
They are "dumb" - i.e. they flounder around and only change direction when they hit something or until they run out of battery.
Pay a bit more for a decent machine.
one that returns to it's charging base. therefore you can set it on a timer and it will clean (when you are at work) until it finishes or gets stuck somewhere (that can happen)
one that tracks/maps where it has been and where it is going.
I have a Neato xv-21 which I bought from amazon in march 2014. cost AU$340 delivered ( exhange rate was US$1 to AUD$1.08)
Had to get a new batteries a few years ago -$60 delivered.
Used it today. brilliant.
