    I bought a Sangean for $29. It's better than this in that it has AM band although it lacks the er .. Danish design.

    It's the same as a $199 RRP Sangean except it has the phrase "Dick Smith by Sangean" instead of "Sangean" printed on it …

      No 3.5mm socket out means throw it in the bin.

      What if you want to use headphones.

      Better off waiting for whatever comes up in a portable format from target big w etc.

        If you want something with a 3.5mm output for headphones we have the Tangent DAB2GO DAB+ Radio which also has Bluetooth and can be portable for $99 :)
