Hi guys, I'm looking for new mechanic(s) in my area for Toyota Camry, I know it's a popular car, but seems like my current mechanic is a lazy dude who never rotates my car's wheel, NEVER, and recently he's not happy when I bring my own car parts to do log book service, even though he would use cheaper parts to replace. He also declined to stamp on my log book because of that, which make me feel disappointed as I'm his loyal customer for years. Those Midas, Auto Master look so dodgy so I'd avoid them. Does anyone here in Adelaide know or actually do car log book please give me contact/business?

Thanks ChrisLevo, how much do they charge you usually? They got 5 stars on Google Review, all 5 stars, wow
Where abouts are you located? We've previously used Midas in Salisbury and found them very reliable and trustworthy. Depends on if the same mechanics are there though…
We had a car with squeaky brakes and sent it in and basically gave them full authority to replace them without calling first, as we got a fair amount of mileage out of the pads already. We picked the car up with them telling us they had plenty of pad left and there were no issues.
I went to Midas Prospect when I had a $200 voucher if I recall correctly, a person in charge there told me log book servicing is 300 or something, and he will not accept any oil and part, even if they fit perfectly as manufacturer recommendations. I had to request to refund the voucher I bought as it was useless to me.
How much does he charge for labor only? You maybe be too stingy.
I went to 2 different independent mechanics, they all charged me 120 including their oil and oil filter. I asked what if I bring oil and parts, they all said $50 for their labours, I did not bargain or push them.
