Looking for a 4k TV that I can use both as a monitor and TV in my bedroom.
Any budget options?
Majority of them seem to be 40" or more and can't be used as monitor for to size.

Having used a 55" as a computer screen, I think they mean the physical size of the panel is too large to be practical.
Exactly. I was talking about size. You can't possibly use a 32"+ Ahmed sitting in front of a desk
Note sure I've ever seen a 4k TV smaller than 40" - once you drop below that it's all computer monitors…

TV/monitor = panel with or without a tuner this days for most parts
I think I might have to go with a monitor.
I liked the idea of having a remote to control volume, but I could probably do it with the PC via some android app
If the majority of the TV's you've researched can't be used as a monitor, then I suspect the problem is your GPU not the TV.
