The giveaway ends on June 1, 1 PM UTC.

From Cyan, the indie studio that brought you Myst, comes a new sci-fi adventure.

As you walk beside the lake on a cloudy night, a curious, organic artifact falls from the starry sky and inexplicably, without asking permission, transports you across the universe. You’ve been abducted from your cozy existence and added into an alien landscape with pieces of Earth from unexpected times and places.

The strange worlds of Obduction reveal their secrets only as you explore, discover, coax, and consider their clues. As you bask in the otherworldly beauty and explore the enigmatic landscapes, remember that the choices you make will have substantial consequences. This is your story now.

Make it home.

Wow, this has been on my wishlist for ages, but it's never dropped low enough to bite.

    That'll do pig, that'll do.

This is a great game in the vein of Riven/Myst, but better IMO.

I finished it over a few nights serious playing. Recommended for those who like puzzlers.

    • I don't think it's better than Myst personally, but I did enjoy it well enough.
There was WAY too much backtracking for my liking - felt like they were padding the game length through meandering rather than good game design.

Not sure if Im blind but its still asking me to pay (70% off)

    • +5

If you're on mobile like me, just click on the 70% off price to buy but then it leads you to the sales page, scroll down and you will see the "Get Obduction free" or something like that, then click for free game.

Great deal, thanks OP. Mac version comes free too, just in case you wanted that for the title.

Awesome! Thank you so much OP. Done and done! :)

This version work with VR, or is that a seperate version?

  • Did anyone have issues with their two step verification email not coming through? Still waiting for mine…

  • Went to click the + and OzBargain's system denied me, saying I was possibly linked to BeingAskhole! I had to tick a box saying I wasn't him or affiliated with GOG.

I don't know whether to feel sorry for BeingAskhole or me that the system thinks we're the same person 😜

Edit: went to + another deal of BA's, and it did the same again! Someone definitely thinks we're related/sock-puppetting…

    • +6

You sure you not related? Did you check with ancestry.com?

    • +4

Maybe you're secretly roommates? Or you have insecure wifi and BA is you neighbour?
Go and ask everyone you're living with of they're an Askhole ;)

    • I must admit, nobody has seen us in the same room at the same time…

    Thanks BA, got it

  • Loving these free games, I thoroughly enjoyed Kathy Rain.

Ty OP I just realised I didn't even have a GOG account lol. 4500 games in steam thanks in part to humble bundle monthly and no bloody GOG haha. Talk about a shit pc gamer. Took a whole 2 secs to make an account to take advantage of this generous epic free game deal.
    Awesome post my friend 👍
