I've got 3 Soocas X3 at home. Wife has never used the bluetooth functions, I did try them but I do not sync the brush with the app anymore.
My 6 year old son is using it twice a day, everyday. He is hooked to the achievements and virtual medals/rewards(30 continuous days brushing, 60 days etc). Probably a gimmick, but he hasn't missed brushing his teeth at all in the last year :)
Yeah, I could see it being used to track kids brushing their teeth.

no I do not use the Bluetooth, played with it a couple of times because, why not.
but since then haven't even given it a thought, other than thinking its wasting the battery.
I think that getting a slightly lower model (price dependant) with same motor is a reasonable idea
just be looking at charge time as some models have an upgraded charger, type of battery and motor.
good price, I only just got the dual handle 8000 last week in click frenzy for about $205 from shaver shop. Bluetooth is fun if you are interested in the tech, only used it once tho. the supplied phone holder is good if you want to watch youtube or something while you're brushing your teeth and getting ready in the morning though.
the 8000 (same motor) was worth it for me upgrading from an old 5000? maybe from about 6-7 years ago
This is an outstanding toothbrush (arguably the world's best). My teeth feel clean for 24hrs, no joke. Bluetooth a gimmick however.

Ours arrived today, brushed my teeth 10 minutes ago. Much better clean than the soocas.Soocas used to be really good the first two weeks but it looks like the motor weakens after a couple of months

Great product but does anyone actually use the bluetooth? Found it to be a gimmick for us. I'd look to save and get a slightly cheaper model with the same motor but without smart features
