Smart TV Vs Android Box That Can Play Plex with Remote Control and Has Parental Lock

Hi guys,

TL;DR: need plex client with remote solution that has parental control

I have Plex that I normally cast through Chromecast 2.
At the moment it is dependent to Android phone to select the movie and casting it.

I'd like for my family to be able to select the movie selections through a remote control (I have Logitech Harmony remote if that helps).

My understanding, my option is either:
- Buy Smart TV (is there such TV that natively run Plex client app?)
- Buy Android TV (such as VodafoneTV)

At the same time, I'd like to lock down the app (especially YouTube/YouTube kids, especially after reading this story), something like this

What do you think the best solution for me?

I cant comment on parental control.. However I have the Vodafone TV box and the remote control is brilliant and works with PLEX client fine

Update, I bought VTV and it's the best!
- has restricted profile that can block certain apps
- has live TV (by connecting aerial antenna to the device) and can block certain channel (by rating OR by channel) in the restricted profile or non-restricted profile (aka owner profile)
- can setup pin for the restricted profile
- has Bluetooth remote control
- can install plex client and use the remote to control the selections
