Recently I've been browsing around for office chairs, especially regarding ergonomic chairs such as the Herman Miller Aeron and Steelcase Chairs.
However, these chairs don't seem to be common in Brisbane (Gumtree etc.), and are out of my budget brand new.
I've stumbled across secret lab a while ago, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them.
They seem to have a new 2020 series chair that advertises 5 year warranty with PU leather.
Any help is appreciated.
How’s the PU leather? Is it still holding up?
Yeah it is. I've had mine since late December, and no stretching/tearing/wearing.
Waited a while for the right Aeron to come up in Brisbane on Gumtree, and it was well worth the wait.
Yeah you just need the Aeron - Even at full price its better than your usual "Gaming" chairs etc. You will buy 6 gaming chairs in the time it takes for your 12 year Herman Miller warranty to be up.
The secret lab guys have a supposed 5 year warranty - so fairly reputable in terms of quality. Thoughts taking this into account?

I picked up a Herman Miller Sayl Chair from Innerspace in Fortitude Valley for $550 on sale. From memory they put them on sale semi-regularly. Great chair, I set on an Aeron at work and the Sayl at home, Sayl is just as good IMO and has a more modern design. Innerspace were great with warranty claim too, I have since moved to Melbourne and the dealer down here didn't want to know about it so Innerspace posted me the replacement parts at no charge.
Just googled your chair and realised my housemate has it. I would go the Sayl 100%, way more configurable and you wont have the PU leather flaking off in a couple years.

I have had a secret lab titan for almost 2 years.
It’s still as comfy as the day I got it.
Highly reccomend them.

The new series has made some improvements which Is making me consider an upgrade. The new leather tech looks good :)
But I might consider a fabric one this time around :)
Just wondering, does the PU leather feel sweaty or hot after a while?
@Timo1234100: I haven’t had that issue. The chair breathes pretty well :)
I don’t think you will be disappointed
I have a Secret Labs Titan, I like it. Bottom foam is a bit hard when you just get it, but it's okay after a couple of weeks.
