EOFY Apple Laptop Deals?

Hi all, i'm looking to buy a new apple laptop before EOFY to lock in some tax deductions.

Does anyone know if apple or apple retailers generally discount apple laptops? I'd ideally like to bundle this in with the purchase of apple airpods too.

I'm based in the eastern suburbs of Sydney but would obviously buy online too if there was a good deal.

Any suggestions on which type of apple laptop too would be great. Need the lappy for the below:

  • general web browsing & netflix
  • download movies/tv shows
  • emails & Microsoft office programs - e.g. outlook, excel, word
  • preference towards long battery life and light weight as opposed to performance and graphics etc.

    10% off is usually the biggest discount you can get with Macbooks

    Go to your local JB Hi Fi store, they sometimes have clearance apple products.

    Macbook Air is probably the one for you. My wife had one since 2011 and its still going strong until today even with the old processor and all. Retail stores usually go max 10% off.. your best bet to get more savings is to stack it with TRS return or occasional gift card discount offer

      MacBook Air 2018 is significantly different from the 2011 model and I have used both. Keyboard, soldered on RAM and SSD, infinitely better screen, less ports. You can't compare, just because you've had a great run with the old machine. I'm glad you did though.

    Microsoft office programs

    if you are used to Microsoft it could be a challenge move to apple, unless you plan to install windows on mac.

      I’ve got the Office suite on my MacBook Pro and it runs fine, just need the Mac version… if you’re using office 365 it all works the same.
