I’m new in Brisbane and need some recommendations please to get a trustworthy RWC for my SUV.

Safety checks can be done by licenced mechanics. Just go for one that's local and cheap.

RWC are the same cost wherever you go. We've been taking our cars to Combined Automotive in Milton for the last 20 years and they won't bullshit you about things you don't need done to pass.

facebook marketplace has ads for mobile mechanics who do RWC. also gumtree.

do a search there.
