    This is the kind of comment I like seeing on deals like this.

    I look them up anyway, but its always nice to know if I should jump on quickly for a cheap game that might be only up for a few hours if its good and clearance.

      Well to expand…

      The fighting system is pathetic, it's supposed to be "accessible" but it's really just basic and has zero depth. Smash Bros is accessible but also extremely deep, as a counter.

      Basically there's two attacks, light or heavy. The entire thing is based on some simple timing and there's really very little more to it. The "specials" aren't really attacks, they're just finishers.

      Graphics are meh, models are ok but framerate is questionable, forget about portable play looks like smeared poo.

      Audio is meh, music is meh.

      Single player does not exist at all.

      Couch play is ok for a few hours but you'll never play this more than once, even for a laugh.

      Online play is broken (maybe fixed now, doubt it though), probably dead anyway.

      Character customisation is pretty good but I mean, there's no way to enjoy this fan service part, you just fight with them and well…you won't want to do that cause the game sucks ass.

      Shallow shallow shallow. That's the key term for this game.

      $5 for a laugh. $25 you'll still regret it.

        Is anyone really buying this for the gameplay though? Wouldn't be surprised to find out they simplified the gameplay to allow one-handed play…

          @choodi: Since there's nothing to play, load up some YouTube vids of others playing it and yanky doodle to that, still save yourself $25.

        i think this game is only aimed at fans of the KOF series.
        it's pretty much accepted that anything made after KOF98's wasn't that good. those expecting something deep like street fighter V or Maverl vs Capcom as going to be disappointed.
