  • Anyone know the road laws for these? Are we allowed to use them in Australia? On footpaths and/or shared bike paths?

    • No idea. Bike has to use the road and cannot be used on the foot path so maybe the same applies to the elec scooter? That will make it too dangerous to ride I think (depending on where you live).

  • So it goes 12km/h with a 55kg rider, lasts for 1hr+ but only travels 4km? That is assuming 33% riding and 67% resting!

  • Hmm … both good points.

    I don't have shared bike/footpath the entire distance, with 1/3 to 1/5 being uphill highway/footpath. 4km per charge limit might get me one way as far as the end of the bike/footpath, then it needs to be walked the rest of the way, and the entire way back …

    That little thing on a highway, at 12 km/h would not be advisable either …

    I am probably not the target market for this :)
