Great deal. Called and confirmed it is OZ stock and comes with 2 year warranty.
They have limited stock, but I ordered and picked mine up.
Happy deal hunting.

Not sure if this is good or not, but yes they have it on the Sony deal page

I think wait a bit more. 2k is the sweet spot. I got mine for a little under 2 - good camera, definitely at the forefront of tech.
where did you get yours from? under 2k is sweet! im waiting
Sony, stacked with $200 amex cashback. It was a good day.
nice!
yeah, I'm waiting for a sub $2k for the A7 III. For sure by next month (June) we should be able to see some cheaper price A7 III.

Well its already happened before, even without amex cashback shenanigans. There was a point where I thought even $1800 was achievable.
@Jimothy Wongingtons: the only question now is which lens to get if I only have a budget for 1 lens?
Does anyone own a Tamron 28-75 2.8 lens and had the chance to compare it to the Sony 24-70 2.8 lens? I'm so tempted to just get the 24-70 2.8 of Sony but I need to do some more research and listen to other people's opinion whether the premium price is really worth it compared to the competition e.g. Tamron 28-75 2.8. I want a more versatile lens for a general walk around travel lens that's good for shooting events as well. I'll be shooting photo's more than video so I need fast auto photos and relatively sharper images.
@sageybadegey: im in the same boat…. thinking to get the tamron 28-75. what people say is, its a pretty good lens.
I am also thinking option 2 will be just get a sigma 35mm f1.4 and use my feet to zoom. Just worry its not wide enough. Or maybe get a sigma 24mm F1.4. they are around the same price
@SS625: I had the 35 1.4 art for nikon, sold it to finance a engagment ring at the time. Good lens - but the 16-35 f4 sony i ended up buying the year after is just a better place to be.
@sageybadegey: Can you realllyyyyy put a price on your happiness though?
If you like wide angle/zoom: 16-35 sony.
If you like prime: 55 1.8 sony
Second hand should be sub 1k easy.
I have the tamron 24-70 f2.8 nikon vc, does what it says on the tin - but if you're like me you'll always be wondering- what if i had soebt a little more?
@Jimothy Wongingtons: You're such a tease. My wallet is already hurting adding all the dollars for this purchase
Have a bunch of Domayne gift cards and tried PM at HN. No such luck :( "Way below the market value" spin and bs!!
Had the same issue. They will only price match big chains like jb hifi or camera warehouse. Without that, the best price Harvey's would give me was something like 2900 - this was about 3 months ago.
They have a 'get out a jail' free card on almost every item. I tried price matching the JBHIFI deal back a month or so ago when it was around $2100 and was told the 'below market value' spin. Anyway, its their bs policy can't do much about it. I will however try in-store as I have a decent relationship with one of the sales guys local to me.
looking for a deal for lens like this one https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/347506
Any A7R III deal?
