Yes. The top can be a tad big and heavy, but usually no problem standing. Neck is also very flexible. Deff worth more than $1.
Is it only at Chatswood bunnnings?
Will I be able to sell this for $2 last price on Gumtree? Brand new sealed with full manufacturers warranty.
How much will you sell it for without the warranty?
If you aren't just being a troll - I'm happy to pick up at Chatswood on Tuesday for $2 :D
I bought one of these about a month ago for $5. Plasticky, but look nice, and work well.
Catch the free Metro there for a fun day out with the kids.
Wait until the barbeque is being packed down and ask to lick the grill for some cheap kilojoules.
It's 2.6kms from the station so hopefully they're up for a (30-35 min) walk!
If they're not up for the walk back, put them in one of these

Go there to buy a $1 lamp. Come out with an $82 garden cart.
That always seem to be how it goes isn't it?
Can someone brainstorm me what do you use these for?
I always found this kind of desk light to be too bright regardless of how well-lit your room is.
Only thing I can imagine is if you're in the garage or shed to do some delicate finger handling stuff.
Is there any other secret OzB uses of this light that I am not aware of? Lighting for millennial live streaming? LOL
Kris Kringle presents, load up and be set for years.
You can change the bulb…..
Thanks, got 15.
The real bargain is that they are cheaper than LED globes even when you throw the desk light away.
If you use the desk light it's an even better deal!
Dispose responsibly
Scrap metal is worth money.
I'll be taking it to the recycling store so the globes become cheaper.
Scrap metal is worth nothing sadly. Most recyclers given you nothing or close to for metal these days(assuming these even have much metal in them). Sad that society is such that we just buy something new to rip out one part and dispose of the rest.
@hazzad: Nobody tell this guy about buying cheap printers just to get the ink cartridges…..
are they good?
