Mi Home Notifications Stopped Working on Redmi Phone

Since a few days ago Mi Home Notifications are no longer working.
I have tried everything I could think of:
1) Cleared cache
2) Cleared data
3) Uninstall Mi Home
4) Installed at least 4 previous versions from APK Mirror spanning the past five months
5) Changed multiple servers (yes I do normally use China)
6) Tried re-adding devices

My only lead is that my MIUI was upgraded on my Redmi Note 5 to 10.3.1.0 around the same time I noticed the notifications stopped working.

Anyone else had a similar issue?

      Thanks, mine was too all the way until 10.3.1.0…

    You've checked the obvious, which is "Settings > Notifications and status bar > App notifications > .."
    and from there double check everything is enabled.

    I don't have Mi Home so cannot give specifics. Is Xiaomi Home the same app?

    Might be worth checking this too.. "Settings > Permissions > .." AutoStart - Mi Home - enabled, and App permission - check to see if anything in each section needs enabling.

    You could also try the http://en.miui.com/forum.php (I get lost easily there) or https://ozmiui.com/forums/ (Australian miui forum, looks new but empty :/ might be worth a shot?)

      Thanks, yes I've enabled all notifications, autostart, and disabled battery saving features. See the thing is it was working just fine before the MIUI update.

      Yes Mi Home is the main Xiaomi App for its connected devices.
