  • you mean the normal price is 68? Wow, ave price for a full priced one in Adelaide is around 40-50

    • You sure? It was already $45 per hour lesson back in 2006, thats 5 years ago and that was considered cheap. All my friends were paying at least $50-55 per hour mid 2006. No way its still $40 per hour now. In Adelaide, dont know about other states.

$40 would be pretty good. Thats IF you get hold of an instructor and the whole group-buy Scoopon thing doesnt occur.

Also assuming 1 lesson = 1 hours worth. The website doesnt seem to say.

  • does this deal include instructors car? or BYO

also….if the car is provided, is there a manual option??

reason i ask is because i have my P's but i dont know how to drive manual (dont have a manual car) and this would be an alright deal

    • It is the instructors car, however it is also Automatic. No manual option at this time, sorry.

  • you can pick manual up by yourself easy mate. just buy an old beater for $1000 and read up online then go for a spin around the block. takes a bit of practice but not too hard at all.

Average price is between $35 and $45 for a driving lesson almost anywhere already. No bargain.

    • Just curious, where did you get that price from? Are you comparing it to the cost you paid back in dinosaur age or something? Imo, comparing the current cost of driving lessons to anything more than a year ago isnt fair, petrol price has risen a lot you know.

  • It's still $45-50/h here in WA, $40 for ONE lesson only is not a good deal IMHO, even if the normal rate is $68/h. Normally L plater will need at least 10 lessons, a saving of only $28 out of $680, i'm sure it's easier just to find one with hourly rate of $60/h, a saving of $80 for 10 lessons. If you only need 1-2 lessons, than this deal might be for you i guess.

  • I did not need any lessons on L plates, free lessons from parents are perfectly sufficient :). saved alot of money.

Indeed, same here. But the problem is, Ive seen A LOT of stupid full license drivers, so….

    rip off

  • Looking around at the major driving lesson companies the price ranges from about $55 to $70+ for a single lesson in Sydney.

So for Sydney, it is actually a good deal.
