I'm looking for a (free of course) app that will help me to track my spending. What do you think is the best app for budgeting atm? I don't want third party app connect to my bank account so entering transactions manually is not a problem.
Also, do you think budgeting apps really make a difference?

I'd argue if you have a good budgeting app you'd be able to afford to pay subscription costs for the best budgeting app. I've been using YNAB which has been rock solid and only $7 USD per month. I'm aware YNAB is good but I admit I'm a TA lol.
Only looking for a free program at this point as I've never used a budgeting program in my life and for all I know I might use it for all of 1 day and call it quits. If I see value in it for sure I don't mind paying down the track. Are you aware of any reasonably good free ones?

Oh you should try YNAB. For me it was life changing.
