The facebook page promoting the $1 day on 3 June is a fake we do not have plans for a $1 day on the 3 June it is a fake event.

Facebook are removing the event and page today.

From the facebook event page:

Traditionally 7/11 Dollar days have been held on a Friday, and we have decided it's been quite a long time since our last one.

So, this Friday, 3rd June 2011, DOLLAR DAY IS BACK!

Make sure you get in early as the response to previous Dollar days has been overwhelming.

The more people who attend these days, the more likely we are to hold them more often so invite all your friends!

The items that will be available for $1 include: Mother 300ml cans, Goulburn Valley 500ml Flavoured milk, Cadbury Medium Bars, Kettle 100gm chips, Cornettos, Donuts, 4n20 Snack sausage rolls, and muffins.

In addition to these products, all Slurpees no matter what the size, will also be $1! A new flavour will also be made especially for this day.** Be sure not to miss out!

Apparently there's no stores in SA despite what it says on the event page, fixed.

    To be honest, I havent seen a Mobil petrol station in Adelaide for a long long time :S Not since Woolies Caltex, Coles Shells and BP have taken over.

      Simply press your tongue against the roof of your mouth and leave it there for a few seconds. (AFTER you eat/drink the cold thing. duhh)
      
      I believe it has something to do with reducing the nerve response the cold cause which makes your brain to swell.
      
      Of course, why believe me? Go buy a few slurpees on Friday and test it out ;)

Sick as, just a couple days ago I commented on 7-11's FB saying they should have dollar day again soon.

Edit: lol the slurpees, I could just imagine someone going in to get a medium slurpee or something and being forced to get the huge one.

Guys, I knew this since last Friday as I know someone who works for 7/11. And another bit of the good news is that its going to be held next Friday as well. Yup, its 2 1$ days back to back this time like earlier.

Oh yeah, n its going to be Cornettos for me. I will have to get up early n stock up before going to work. I can get the mother from the 7/11 near work but I don' think the Cornettos will stay alright if I keep them in my car 9 - 5.

fantastic. people from my office does runs on $ days. people give orders and people come back with bags of stuff for others. and then people decide they want more.

top drawers are stuffed with $1 treats.

Perfect timing. The cheap day of the petrol price cycle seems to be Friday at the moment. Hopefully that lasts this week at least (currently a hermit staying at home to study for exams, only leaving to fill my car with petrol).

ah well. specials dont sound that great to me anyway because it was only 300ml mother lol. chocolate bars are nearly always 99c at woolies/coles..

cornettos are alright for $1 but even then they can be bought in 4 pack on special for $3.99
