Cashrewards Notifier not working in Chrome

I've been using the Cashrewards notifier for months now without issue. But over the last couple of days it hasn't been detecting web sites when I go to them (like Amazon & Myer).

Also, if I click the notifier icon it displays an empty "Featured Offers" tab (just the three pulsing dots are shown).

This happens both on my home PC and work PC.

On Chrome version 74.0.3729.169.

  • Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the extension?

    • Just tried uninstalling and re-installing. Made no difference unfortunately.

  • I tried Amazon AU now and saw the same problem, but Myer worked for me. Tried Amazon AU a couple more times and still didn't work. Tried Woolworths and that one also didn't pop up.

    So went to Cashrewards and clicked a handful of random sites, including Amazon AU and Woolworths, all of which worked. After it worked successfully from there, refreshed the tab for Amazon AU that wasn't working and this time it worked. No idea if a coincidence but on the chance it made a difference, may try doing the same?

  • Seems broken again, for Firefox at least.

    Worked last night, not working this morning. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the add-on, restarting the browser, and rebooting the PC. No change.

  • It's not working for me again. Tried Chrome, Brave and Firefox.

    The extension when clicked just comes up with a small white box.

    Have restarted my computer, cleared caches.
