FocusOnFurniture falls into administration - Most stores closing down - 50% off floor stock

Went to Castle Hill home center today and noticed that Focus on furniture had closing down signs, with 50% off floor stock signs.

I rang up a few other stores and they were also closing.

Marsden Park still had quite a bit of stock left over as it is a much bigger premise.

Decent savings on sofas, beds and other furniture.

The 50% off is only on floor stock and can't be applied to custom orders.

Gift cards, warranty etc are still valid.

Isn't it ironic the discount code for 30% off all items is 'MAYDAY'

It however is always sad a business closes for the staff across its stores

  I don't think it's all the stores, just the poorly performing ones. According to the report, they seem to do better in certain areas.

i had a look on the site and cant even find a deal even with the 30% discount

We managed to get lucky and walk in to the Springwood store on the weekend while out couch shopping, managed to get a couch that my wife and I both love, and at 50% was in our budget, definitely wouldn't have been at full price, was also the last couch that was yet to be sold in the store
