I think you need to rethink who your target audience on ozbargain….

Generally a female does not want cheap jewellery…

    • -1

So, generally, a male does? XD
In fact, this pair of earrings is at cheap price but not cheap quality.
Males can buy it as a gift to their girlfriends, wifes, mothers…
They can't imaging the price if you don't tell them.
      Thanks for your reminding anyway.

"They can't imaging the price if you don't tell them."
They can if the fake gold coating rubs off after a couple of uses :P

      • A male will at least wear it if it LOOKS good.

A female needs it to be valuable as well :P

But true, you could always try not telling them.

That reminds me, I once gave my ex jewellery from Dealextreme, she really liked it and appreciated it a lot. I made it known to her that I got it "cheap" from the internet, I didn't tell her it was $3 :P

But then… it didn't look shiny and new for very long.

Just say it costed you an arm and a leg?
And hide your arm and leg behind you?
And cover your shirt and pants with tomato sauce?

is what why she's an ex? ;)

        • +1

Good buy for an ex if the eardrops comes with some leaking heavy metal ions..

      • +3

I think I'd get dumped if I gave this as a gift!

You should go and see the reviews and pictures from our customers. It's not what as you think.

  • Zzz… tinydeal is back with their regular spam of the week.. can't you guys post something useful, or an actual bargain for once!?

    • Hello, could please give us some ideas on what is a bargain for you? That would be highly appreciated.

      • +3

        Be creative.
Look at what is highly used in homes, but is extremely expensive.
        -iPod cables
        -HDMI cables
        -USB wall chargers
To be a bargain, strictly speaking, as your site is not an Australian site or based in Australia, you'd have to be able to beat eBay prices.

      • if you want advise on what will give you a profit, then you should pay a consultant who is an expert in this area.

Torben, I'm sure you are capable of determining which products or even categories of products are popular with Australians by volume shipped, with the aid of data collected by your website. Your website has a wishlist, which you can easily use to determine what is being 'wished' for by customers, but not actually purchased.

A bargain posted from a rep should include a coupon code giving a discount off the price!
but these earrings are very ugly maybe you should try giving them away for free?

How about some cheap engagement rings for all those superficial marriages that won't last a day and half?

  • +2

Lol I wear cheap silver jewellery, but never gemstone ones-its too obvious that its fake, esp colourful ones. Mayb a good gift for a kid daughtor

@Torben - Where are the stylish eardrops mentioned in the title? All I can see in the thumbnail image and associated linked page is a pair of frightening ugly eardrops.

    • I think I missed the stylish ones too. They must have run out and replaced them with the 'Oh god my eyes' model.

  • All these would be good for is dress up, no female in their right mind would be caught dead wearing these in the street, unless they are prentending to be royalty (and can get away with wearing something so obviously fake as these earrings).
I for one literally can't wear anything 'fake' (my skin comes out in hives), but i think most females who wear things like cubic zirconia earings, rings etc… only have realtively smallish stones, if its too big - its usually fake (unless they have a rich sugar daddy ;) )!

  • Give us some discount on the stationery!
    Torben!

  • $2.90 for this is fairly laughable. No bargain, I'm afraid.
