I had a credit balance in my account so I used it to purchase a brand new Samsung Galaxy A6. Virgin Mobile had assured me that I could sell the locked phone to a private party. However, when I attempted to list it on sites such as Amazon, I learned that I needed to provide the phone's UPC code as part of the application process. I have repeatedly requested this from Virgin Mobile. I finally received a response which wasn't helpful. It read: "Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a UPC code." Any suggestions? The 7-day window to return the phone has passed.

UPC is the barcode. If it is a new phone, in plastic wrap, it should be on the box somewhere. It should be near the IMEI. It will probably start with 880…. and be about 12 digits long.

Won’t selling a locked phone for Virgin - who are closing and don’t have prepay - cause issues for buyer?
make up a UPC?
