NBN Due from June - ISP?

NBN is apparently available here from June. We're currently with TPG for ADSL. Their prices for NBN are comparable, as are Kogan's. Kogan's added benefit is the QFF points.

Anyone had any dealing with Kogan for internet, preferably with NBN? Good? Bad? Ugly?
As they are Vodafone supplied, possible problems ahead?

Thanks.

here's a list of previous Kogan NBN posts to have a read of https://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/kogan%20nbn%20type%… (or where Kogan NBN was mentioned)

small point… it's the HFC version we get.

  • Aussie Broadband if you want decent speeds, properly managed CVC and awesome customer service.

Kogan/TPG if average speeds do not matter and price is more important

    • +1 for Aussie Broadband, recently joined and it was so much easier dealing with their onshore/less complex call centre where the one person can always help. I had a lot of issue (all on NBN's end) and Aussie Broadband were great compared tp Telstra, Optus and Dodo (the providers I had previously used for internet). Not the cheapest, but I'd rather pay the premium for the service and better speeds.

I got the letter too as the estimated date from TPG, are we neighbours by any chance?

    • I got one too. North Shore by any chance?

      • North ryde

      • I got one for North Shore. Am looking to churn away from Optus Cable as their NBN plans are super expensive.

  • Superloop

  • Westmead.

Kogan was considered more for the flyer points as the prices don't vary much. But as so much of what they sell is crap, I wasn't sure how they went with reselling nbn.

Anyone know what their modem is a rebadged version of?
