Advice on CPU and GPU

So i am building a pc for Gaming / Possibly video editing and streaming but i am so confused between should i wait for ryzen 3000 series or should i get intel? If i got with intel should i go i9-9900k with rtx 2070 or go i7-9700k with rtx 2080?

So 3 options;

Option 1:

Intel i9-9900K
NZXT X62 280mm
Asus - Prime Z390-A
16G Kit (8Gx2) 3000 Corsair Vengeance LPX (white)
Samsung 970 evo plus 500GB m.2 nvme
Seagate 3.5" BarraCuda 1TB
8GB RTX 2070 Gigabyte Windforce
NZXT H500 white
Corsair 80+ Gold Semi-Modular TX650M

Option 2:

Intel i7-9700K
NZXT X62 280mm
Asus - Prime Z390-A
16G Kit (8Gx2) 3000 Corsair Vengeance LPX (white)
Samsung 970 evo plus 500GB m.2 nvme
Seagate 3.5" BarraCuda 1TB
8GB RTX 2080 Gigabyte Windforce
NZXT H500 white
Corsair 80+ Gold Semi-Modular TX650M

Option 3:

Wait for Ryzen 3000 series and see if they any good.

I am so stuck here, i am not sure what to do because i wanna build this and not worry about for next few years and run all the new games on high fps.

Also had people tell me that i7-9700k is not good because it doesn't have hyperthreading which is going to ruin the performance.

I'd personally be waiting until Ryzen is officially announced (end of month), they've had a bit of a clockspeed and architecture disadvantage for gaming but zen 2 seems to address that. If it does this would likely be a better bang for buck proposition for streaming.

If you can't wait definitely option 2. The 9700k is still one of the best choices for a gaming CPU, but you'll see a much larger gaming performance increase with the 2080 vs 2070.

Option 2 is by easily the better gaming system. Both CPUs are way more than you need for gaming so you won't see much difference from either but you will see a difference between the 2070 and 2080 in game performance of about 10-15%.

    • Yeah GPU upgrade over CPU for me unless you know you will be using something where absolute CPU power is needed.

As long as you have something better than an i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 2600 the extra won't really be seen unless editing, rendering, compiling, etc all CPU sensitive tasks.

But you will notice when you can't push 4K 60FPS in a game and only get up to 4K 30FPS.. trust me you will notice it haha lol.

you might want to read this regarding the new found flaw in i7 https://www.pcgamesn.com/intel/zombieload-mds-vulnerability-…, that is possibly what people are referring to

or just google "Intel Zombieload vulnerability"

Personally I'd wait for computex at least, see when we're getting ryzen 3k.

Out of the first 2 options however, the i7 one

    • They confirmed its going to be Q3 so between April and sept. I am not sure if i wanna wait this long.

      • Regardless, computex will likely provide us with more information on the products.

Note, it's also possible that may have meant full availability of the product line. The ryzen 7/9 series may be available before qè
