Just a quick question for those of you unfortunate enough to have been served a cumulative disqualification period for your licence.
The end date of my disqualified period is today the 17th of May and Main Roads told me over the phone "you should be okay" to come in today but a work colleague who recently got their licence back said they had to go in the day after the end date from their memory.
I understand the operator over the phone at Main Roads is reading from a script and the work colleague is going from memory >6 months ago but has anyone else had any experience in this department care to comment?
Thought best to ask in an effort not to waste a trip to the department of transport using uber + public transport for no reason when I know it will 100% be available Monday the 20th.
Thanks in advance.
Edit - To clear up confusion - Can you go into TMR to apply for your licence on the end date of your suspension or the day after. Over the phone I've been told from TMR that you can but a colleague who recently went through this process says you cannot.
I'd would have thought it applies until midnight.
