    Hot Star. You will be needing a vpn to use it. and then you can mirror it to tv using chromecast or apple tv

      Chromecast does not work over VPN unless you want to cast it via HDMI. I streamed IPL Final through Hotstar and the picture quality was just ordinary.

        I use hotstar on my vodafone tv and nvidia shield with PureVPN, works super smooth

          That is good to know mate. I think I should buy Nvidia Shield as well. Wondering if PureVPN is sideloaded on Vodafone and Nvidia?

            @vivmahi: Sideloading things onto android boxes is not difficult. However purevpn app appears in a play store search on my Shield box so looks like happy days.

            @vivmahi: purevpn is available on playstore, no need to sideload, u can do the same stuff on $72 vodafone tv. you need paid subscription to purevpn and Hotstar. Hotstar is like $22 a year. it has all the good shows, sports, movies (game of thrones and stuff)

              @letmesingh: @letmesingh Thanks mate. I think $72 is the cheapest bet to enjoy Hotstar over VPN. Are you able to access Amazon Prime over Vodafone TV and Netflix USA using PureVPN?

                @vivmahi: Naw, netflix does not work but amazon prime is hit and miss, sometimes it work sometimes it does now. but Sony Liv and Hotstar apps have everything

                      @letmesingh: That is good to know. I am planning to buy a NordVPN which supports Netflix USA, install the VPN app on Vodafone TV and stream US content directly from the box. The same goes for Hotstar but Prime Australia should work without VPN.

            @vivmahi: Hi,
            It's nothing to do with modem, purchase any VPN which has Indian servers.
            Turn on VPN to (INDIA) ON PC, once you are set to indian server, go to hotstar and choose program.
            On PC chrome top right go to cast to device and select the device (tv) which has chromecast device installed and watch the mirrored image on your TV.
            Hope that helps.
