Just finished a survey and it seems like a generic code.

(8 meals) Currently they have 20% off meal kits + this code = roughly $6.10 per meal if you buy 4 x meal kits. Total Payable after discount $48.84

Or

(7 meals) 3 x meal kits, plus one regular meal = $6.11 per meal. Total Payable after discount $42.83

or

(7 meals) weekday warrior pack (5 meals + 1 meal kit) = $6.28 per meal. Total Payable after discount $44.00

or

(6 meals) Autumn Favs Pack = $5.66 per meal. Total Payable after discount $34.00

or

(5 meals) 5 x regular 9.95 meals = $6.95 per meal. Total Payable after discount $34.75

Min spend before discount is $49.00

Side note: If you ever shop at Aldi, always check their youfoodz section. They discount the meals down to (I think) $5.30 or so but the use by date is roughly 3 - 4 days after. Scored some good meals there

Another day, another Youfoodz post. I'm expecting another Travelbug comment bashing Youfoodz

  • +1

@travel bug - even if Youfoodz goes down we are protected under MasterCard Visa schemes given we can charge back the payment if goods aren't delivered..

    • What about after pay? Would that be safe?

  • -3

Even if you cut your nose off to spite your face, you can still have it sewn back on. The question is why bother, isn't it better to be risk adverse and wait and see. Their food is yummy but I must wait.

    • +2

You talk a lot of dribble.

    • +1

Depends what you're doing with your nose. If it's to buy YouFoodz cheaply, then it seems worth it. #nometaphor

  • Naturally I just placed an order last night, whoops.

    • Same but just did another and scheduled delivery for next Wednesday, never goes to waste

  • Thanks op, I fell asleep on the couch last night and woke up after midnight so I missed out on the promo yesterday.

  • I would recommend anyone getting the meal kits to carefully check expiry dates. The last lot I got had only 3 days…

    • Agree!

Also the rice isnt that good IMO. I prefer cooking my own rice.

No!!!!! Sounds like a last stock fire sale before court proceedings. Looking forward to tomorrows "specials" from the sock puppets to snare the gullible ozbargainers who won't hear a bad word especially from Travel bug.

!OzBargainBot remind me in +14 hours to check the news for "YouFoodz court case"

Apart from the inability you have to reply in line, perhaps it’s also the lack of information you provide…only facts I can see is a former supplier claims there is a debt owed and youfoodz disputes there is a debt, the matter is due for a hearing on June 7 but there’s nothing to suggest it’s in danger of folding any time soon and I can’t see in your posts anything that proves otherwise. I did see one post where you inferred they don’t have a chicken supplier when in fact they do and have had the new supplier for some time now. Don’t take it as a personal attack, we just need some information rather than constant claims based on nothing more than a hearing for a disputed debt from a previous supplier then people might have a different opinion.

    • The end is nigh

fire sale? They have had these promotions for a year and this on isn't even among the best?
The dispute is over about $180,000.. YouFoodz had revenue of $126,000,000 and $5,400,000 profit last year. It is also backed by some very large international players.
It's safe to take your tin foil hat off.

  • Delivery was only $10 to Perth this time. Have they dropped it from $20, or is it because it was a smaller order (3 kits, 1 meal).

    • +2

They restructured their delivery from what I can see. They prob calculated the profit margins and found out that they make a bit of profit from online sales if they lowered the price vs customers who don't buy due to delivery costs.

have a look on yesterdays deal, its $10 if you spend x amount and free if you spend y amount.

I've bored with Autumn Favs, when are they going to switch?

    • +11

      Winter I'd expect.

    • +1

      Same here
Especially the meatballs, wishing a new bundle coming soon..

  • 8 Ready Meals $49.90:
Autumn Fave Pack + 2 winter early sale meals (beef lasagna etc, $7.95 each)
    Total $49 + $15.9 - $15 = $49.9
One dollar extra than 4 meal kits but no need to cook
Except really sick of meat balls…

  • Mealkitz are now $14.95. This brings it down to $44.80 ($5.60 per meal) for 4 kits
