  i have bought on 3 occasions from them. Trust me, when it says free shipping, it actually means it's going on the ship. When i paid for shipping it arrived in about 3 days. But I recently waited 7 weeks from the day they told me my item was 'shipped' til when it arrived on my free shipping purchase.

  Not sure on the quality of their photo printing but i ordered some umbrellas, coasters and magnets and the quality of the products is not great, i imagine the umbrella will break the first time i need it, and the magnets can hold 1 sheet of paper to the fridge. The printing was ok thou.

    When i paid for shipping it arrived in about 3 days. But I recently waited 7 weeks from the day they told me my item was 'shipped' til when it arrived on my free shipping purchase.

    I do not think paying for the shipping has anything so do with it.

    That deal makes you pay for the postage and I have also used a few other offers which have had free postage.

    Both free and paid postage are sent using the same service and the delivery time varies but it is not that items i have paid for the postage on always come faster or come faster most of the time.

    The delivery time comes down to Hong Kong post, some items they send out very quickly and other items take weeks to arrive. It is the same for any Hong Kong/Chinese online store.

      For the past year or so, post from Hong kong and china has been taking from 2-4 weeks. I remember it used to take exactly 1 week to receive something, now I expect 2 weeks or more.

  from my memory, artscow has terrible word of mouth. I will not risk ordering from them.
  Anyone think that's a bargain?

    I have a few hundred prints i have ordered from the deal in my comment above and have been impressed with them.
    They are no better or worse than the prints I have had printed locally.

    As with benaud my experience with some of their other items has not been so good but i have never had a problem with their printing work.

    I have ordered a canvas print from them. The first one went missing (I don't think they ever shipped it), but after I chased them about it they sent a replacement for free. The quality is OK, about the same print quality as BigW, but the wooden frame is a little thinner - but not bad for the price.

    I have ordered 3 photo books from Artscow, always using discount coupons and have never had any issues. Yes shipping time is a little slower than Snapfish for example but I only waited a couple of weeks each time.

    Quality is also less than Snapfish with their regular books, although still acceptable and very good for the price (when discounted). I think this is a bargain because I'd like to see what their increased quality is like.
