    We have one that is similar to this and have had it for a couple of years now and the kids love it.
    Well worth it especially at this price point and great for the entertainment factor, including kids birthdays, sleep overs etc.

    its not super loud, but loud enough and depends greatly on the recorded level of the music you play.
    The way the light changes colour with the music is good, although softer the music level the less the light flickers and changes.
    the only thing with our one is that when you want to use it as just a light globe, the white hue is a odd/strange colour.
    you can get used to it but we don't use it for that, I only put it up when the kids want to have a music light show and dance etc.
