I went into officeworks and got it for $113.05 today.
Their listed price is $168.00
Both Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi has it for $119 so price beat with them.

Yeah i am pretty happy with it so far.
Nothing more annoying than an auto off eco feature you can't disable. Thanks for the tip, saved me wasting my money.
I assume it's only if it can't detect the configured wifi network
That’s correct, so if it’s at home or somewhere where you’ve connected to the available network (such as a hotel), there’s no issue at all.
I got one from the bigw sale also and have never had that issue. sure its not a power saving mode at your routers side that's kicking it off?
You are better off with the Google Home… unless you like sound :) Which I think is most of us.
That made no sense at all.
It does if you are into your music, clearly you aren't so I'd recommend the Google Home Mini for you. The Max is even better but wowser on the price
Umm okay 😆
@Krazyy: Just stating a fact
@kronicmacstigator: It’s just the total randomness of your comment and how it is phrased.
@Krazyy: Not really random… all the audiophiles know that the Sony is way above the Home.
That being said… if we could plug-in a 3.5mm aux into the Home or Mini that would be a different story. Then again… the onboard processor would probably be pretty lacklustre
@kronicmacstigator: Why not go down the route of google mini and add a chromecast audio into a speaker or system?
Or if you really like music you cast it to actual stereo speakers.
@[Deactivated]: you can now bluetooth pair any speakers to mini… so that's a great feature if you are stuck with mini. I've hooked it up with my old HT which has a bluetooth mode
I think it’s worth mentioning in the description, that this is a smart speaker, and is without battery and needs to be tethered with DC power.
(Some may think it’s a portable bluetooth speaker due to its appearance)
Well, its transformer needs an AC supply…
Just going by JB Hifi info “Power Supply DC IN”
I had this for $102.60 from previous Big W sale but via Ebay (10% off coupon + eBay plus free shipping). The speaker will automatically turn off after a period without network and you have to restart it, and there's no option to disable this eco function. Other than that it's pretty decent for the $.
