Good price, a replacement cassette is $36 alone - https://www.amazon.com.au/Braun-21B-Shaver-Replacement-Compa…

yeah I bought a few brauns at Woolies a few years ago when they werer on sale for $35.
Handy for spare shaver & cassettes

I notice Shavershop is $35 too, but has a $10 off your first order if you sign up to their spam

    • Is that the right one? I have one of these and need to replace the heads soon but I can see 31B on the Braun Aus site

      • Not totally sure but you would be annoyed with the seller for misleading title if it wasn't. Mine says which part number to use on the back of the shaver in faint writing.

Just in time for mother’s day!

    • My mother would love this too!

  • The negative Amazon user reviews for this model are scathing and the positive reviews, quite frankly, look fabricated.

Is there anyone using this model? Apparently the Series 7 and up are unrivalled in quality but the price range of those is a lot more than what I'd want to pay.

I have it and don't use it. I found it to require multiple passes and to graze the skin. I agree with the poor reviews.

I haven't got this, but the series 1 version (single foil). Personally i prefer foils over rotating heads, as I find they cut closer for me and better for cutting longer neck hairs. But it's not as good on the upper lip/around the nose.

One thing if you get a hole in the foil, you'll notice it pretty quick, and the blades will nip you (you won't bleed, it's a pinch)

Lastly I noticed on this model the run time is only 20mins and it takes an hour to charge. Which is a bit underwhelming. Which means i need to take the charger if I go away for more then a few days.

Same I tried Philips but didn't like it.

Don't use it if there is a hole.

yep gotta discover it some how. And I learnt that you need to have spare foils, in case it happens :-)

      • If you don't have a lot I think it is very difficult to break a hole unless you drop it or something.
