I am renting. The provided lights are blocked by my own body when working in kitchen /garage making it hard to see things on chopping board/in shelves.
What is a good temp method so I can add 1 light about my work area?

There are many simple clip and clamp lamps to choose from. Can point /bounce light, to any direction /from anything.

Various available online with E27 socket, use bulb of choice, add GU10 adapter to use downlight as spot, etc.
EasyI got a 5m white LED strip + controller for 15 AUD. Used tape to stick it. It is working well now. I have like 3m strip still to be used.
