My dog goes through 2 chickens a week and with that said. It does cost alot. So I was wondering, where would I find affordable chicken around $3-3.5/kg. I stock up during the sales at woolies and coles but it's not very consistent. Somewhere near inner west sydney

Not exactly what you want, but Meatonline.com.au has a special on chicken breasts at the moment for $4.99 kg.
Buy chicken frames, like $2/kg
Looking more for whole chickens. Considering $3.5/kg at 3kg. I'd get a 1.5kg carcass. 0.75kg of chicken maryland and 0.75kg of chicken breast
Buy from a pet store that sells pet meat. much cheaper than buying from the supermarket

Should have been more specific. I don't mean a pet store like Petstock/Petbarn etc I meant a pet butcher. Meat is always $5/kg or less where i get mine from

No cooked bones. 80-90% of all dog food contain chicken

You can generally pick up whole roosters for free on Gumtree.
Your dog won't notice its a boy.
