$100 off the original price for a high end 2060 card. Not sure if this or the Ventus OC is more worth.

im still running a gtx 770 - i want to upgrade. I thought the 20 series was for me - but everything i read says RTX is a gimmick.
And i cant bring myself to by a used 1080ti….
i cant be the only one stuck in the middle surely
Exact same position friend. I've got a 780ti…
Do I get a 1660ti, or a 2060 (or a 2070)?
Then I think to myself, is it really going to make a difference in game play for the only game I play, Age of Empires 1Yeah, I don't want to buy in to RTX. I just want to push as many fps as possible without taking the performance hits needed to enable ray-tracing, or the much higher resolutions (4K).
I think I might get 1660 Ti for a laptop… but I've already got a 1060 for a desktop and want something a lot more powerful.
I'm waiting to see what AMD does. It's been years and people have been repeatedly hopeful before, but I'm definitely sucked into the hope hype for Navi. Rumors I've read said they're finally gonna produce chips that are energy efficient, and although they mightn't trump Nvidia for the most powerful, if they can produce something that's up to about 2070-2080 power that's energy efficient for a similar or slightly less price, I'm in.
100% agree with Navi. Hopefully it lives up to the rumours and hype!
(profanity) I'm excited. Please don't let me be another victim of AMD hype…
Whatever you read about RTX was from whining babies who spat the dummy when they first came out that "wahh all the games haven't magically implemented ray tracing and DLSS overnight, wahh!"
However, now that games are coming out with Ray tracing and DLSS support, its clear that they are absolutely awesome. BFV is soooo beautiful with RTX. Its like the difference between black and white and colour TV.
Seriously, those gaming journalists and youtube jocks were full of shit. RTX is the real deal.
what RTX are you using and what FPS and resolution are you getting with RTX on and off?
RTX 2080 at 1440p, I get 100 fps with mostly high/ultra settings and medium ray tracing. Ray tracing off I get over 120 ultra, but my monitor has gsync
@Gamer Dad Reviews: thanks - im not sure my budget stretches to 2080's and g-sync's
@BartonWest: Yeah the 2060 is an in odd spot and the GTX 1660 ti is great too
This expired on the 15th why has it got expired on the title
