  this kit is pretty good, my just last month 6 year old was given this as a birthday present,
  he smashed it out, with very little help. Looks good.

  only thing is how many Lego pre fab kits there are, he only has a few, but Lego seems to now mostly be pre made kits.
  And that you need to keep the instructions with any spare bits in a separate bag or break them down into separate bags
  so all the bits for the kits don't get mixed up.. which we have a couple of kits in a tub mixed up

  I remember Lego as just many different pieces and the green Lego mat
  and you would use your imagination etc to make cars, planes, houses, castles, whatever..

    You can still buy Lego classic! Although it's oddly more expensive than the prefabs.

    It’s not that I dislike prefab/themed/licensed sets, as they all have a place.

    But it’d be great to see a big set, with lots of cool pieces that you can build a variety of different models.
