  • Wouldn't that be most routers on the market?

  • What you mean by bridging?. Do you mean Wireless Distribution System (To receive wan signal via wireless instead of standard WAN ethernet port)?. Usually most new routers support this but you need to buy same brand/vendor of your existing wireless router. Another option would be, buy a linksys which supports opensource firmware, that can do this.

    • Hi

I have a Dlink wireless router connected to a Sagem adsl modem which is plugged into the only phone socket in the house, but cant get a wireless signal in part of the house.

I used to have a Linksys WRT54G with DD-WRT firmware that allowed me to connect to that and in turn the Linksys connected to the dlink (dd-wrt allows you to turn the wireless power up to get a few extra metres and better signal).

My Linksys broke during an alcohol related incident and I need to replace it.

  • Buy a N-Range wireless routers (to replace your DLink) which supposed to give extra long range.

But i would recommened to look in ebay for a cheap linksys and go for the same method you had earlier.
