Mi Band 2 for $23.40? Having a laugh surely?

    • is it good and is it a good price?

      • yes and no

      • Considering the Mi Band 3 has been routinely around $30 and the Mi Band 2 has been as low as $13.16 back in November 2017.

        Depends on your use.

For me I've had mine for 2 years and only use it to vibrate on incoming call, alarm-vibrate (saves waking up half the house), and telling the time.

Mine lasted 2 years before the screen dimmed to a point where it's hard to see in any light - the incoming call + alarm still works so I havne't given up on it yet.

Glue on original Miband strap wore out over time but a new band was like $2

For $30 or whatever it was at the time I believe it's worth it.

        • Same here but replaced the band with a Milanese, so much better.
          Keeps count of steps, too
If I remember well I bought a cheap add-in for Sleep as Android and was getting sleep info as well, although many times I was charging it overnight.
for the heart beat measure I had to twist my wrist to push it against the skin.

          • @cristtos: It does none of those things accurately.

            • @Diji1: True but you get what you pay for :)
I think it was worth the 20 odd dollars I paid for.

            • +1

@Diji1: Xiaomi Mi Band 2 scored 100% for step count accuracy on Choice magazine review of over 50 fitness trackers. One of the very few to do so : https://www.choice.com.au/health-and-body/diet-and-fitness/s…
I've had one for a couple of years now. Battery lasts about 4 weeks on a full charge which is awesome. Main fault is that its difficult to read in bright light. Apart from that I've been very happy with it.

              • @Angelino: what about heart rate and sleep?

                • @Jamesx: Choice review found it was very accurate for measuring resting heart rate, less so for active heart rate. Sleep measurement wasn't tested. My personal experience is that its not very accurate at determining sleep but I have no idea how it compares to others on that score. I'm not really sure how any fitness tracker determines you're asleep as opposed to just lying in bed :-)

  • Mi band 4 is coming soon!

    • Any details on it?

  • +2

My Miband 2 is suffering from the low brightness problem, and hasn't been used in ages.

  • Is this a good buy for someone just looking for fitness tracking features? Sleep tracking would be a nice bonus but not really interested in the notification mirroring stuff.

    • I have both Mi band 2 and 3. Go for 3.

    • 3 displays msg with nicer display, there's also a NFC version on 3
I hope v4 can have NFC.

      • According to an article I read, NFC will be available on the Chinese version of the Mi Band 4 only.

  • You seem to be selling the Mi Band 3 for $28.50 too.

Is this also from the Sydney Warehouse?

    • Mi band 3 sold out

      • Lucky I bought one yesterday!
Will shipping from China really take 60 days? Or is that just the maximum time?

        • +1

i think 2-3 weeks. depends on which courier they are using.
