Doesnt seem that cheap? How much bigger are xl?
Advertised as 50% more pizza and toppings. Usually costs $3 to upgrade large to extra large.
Thanks
50% more than what? Their "new" large which is the size of a old medium pizza? I guess this new XL is either the same size as L used to be or possibly a tiny bit bigger, the last "large" pizzas i got from dominos were pathetically small.
How does it compare with their "New Yorker" sizes?
Their sizing really starting to do my head in..
New Yorker are 16" so I think they are still bigger (considering Domino's large pizzas are only 10"), assuming that this extra large would be no larger than 15" (50% more), I'm not sure how much extra large is but it couldn't be more than 15". Edit: Below says it's only 12.5" so New Yorker are much wider.
Having said that New Yorker is thinner than regular pizzas, and has less toppings, so it might not weigh as much or be as much pizza, despite being bigger in width.
Some info on New Yorker vs regular here.
@hamza23: Thanks.. looks like I'll need to adopt talking in inches. As it differs by each business.
Normally I ask to "Deep Pan" all my pizzas for that extra plumpness. Are you saying it's not optionable on NYer range, being only thin/?
Nonetheless I will await the next "XL" deal!
@capslock janitor: Yeah that's right, NYer only has 1 base (Fairly thin). I just edited my previous comment also, XL pizzas are only 12.5" wide (the answer was below in this thread :p)
Keep an eye on OzBargain Pizza Page, there's some XL coupons there now (quite a few coupons there that won't be posted as deals, we add them directly into couponese daily which feeds them into the store pages and this pizza coupon page). You can access it easily from the 'Pages' menu at the top of OzBargain.
@hamza23: OHOHO cheers!
According to Domino's news release, their XL are 12.5 inches. That's smaller than my local's traditional large size of 13 inches.
Thanks
oh how did I miss reading this..
Yipee! Thanks for the post…nom nom nommm
